Recently, most of the anime fans in the web has been surprised and amazed by the new trending meme. Those anime characters that announcing they're pregnant have became the topic of many netizens especially those people within the anime fandom. In fact, while I am browsing through my Tumblr account, I'd seen a lots of people reblogging different characters from random anime series these memes and believe, some of these are just literally hilarious. Actually I still don't know where all of these began but it was just so cute (total kawaii) power. Look at the faces of these anime characters and you'll have to prepare yourself to laugh. Of course, there are many more out there but here are few of those memes.

There are plenty of remarkable characters in different mainstream anime in today’s generation but I admit there are many awesome characters that are not known to many viewers and only limited to a certain group of individuals. For example, anime film or series that was based from video games are probably popular among gamers but not in the entire community of anime fans. All these times, I’d watched a lot of feature films from different genres and from different sources like video games, visual novels and light novels or a film adaptation of a certain anime series. Probably, those films based from video games are typically boring since I believe that the plots are relatively weak. Yet I admire the graphics and visual effects of such films, well if I am on the mood of watching action-adventure story then those video games movie adaptations are my first options. Sengoku Basara: The Last Party is an anime film based from the Sengoku Basara video game series and it was also the last in the anime series adaptation showing the fans of the final battle of different characters in the story. The story is not really engaging and interesting if I will give my opinion, maybe it is because I am kinda fed up of the setting of the entire film. The Sengoku period on which warring warlords ruled the land was just very common with the participation of many famous Japanese figures in the given period. The fight scenes are literally good if not that great, and I think it is one of the edges of the film that keeps my spirit interested to finish watching it until the end. Furthermore, there are many interesting characters in the game though I kinda feel out of place since I don’t have that much of knowledge about the Sengoku Basara video game series. What I like about the film is that T.M. Revolution sung both the opening and ending song; definitely the opening simply reminds me of “Vestige” his song from the Gundam Seed Destiny Final Plus. Well, below are my favorite characters in the story. Last night, I'd watch Eden of the East (both movies) and it's not bad so I can say it was okay. So,what leads me to write this post is Kazuomi Hirasawa, he's the nerdy de facto leader of Eden of East in the story and for some reason, I just really like his character. So, what's with the title "That Weird Nerdy Look"? Well, it was just that Hirasawa have this look... When I saw him like that, there's something that popped up on my head. Yeah, something crazy as if I had seen that look before. Without a second thought, my mind works on his own and it shows a man in the mirror with the exact look and gesture like Hirasawa in the picture above. Then, back to reality I said to myself, wtf, this guy have the same bad habit like me. Haha, and I remember that I am wearing glasses back in my college days much to the dismay of my friends because they said that I was kinda annoying to doing that gesture. Well, I really love doing that, but seems like I forgot it now since I don't use eye glasses anymore. I don't know if it was just destined that my favorite character from Eden of the East simply looks similar and behave the same way as I do. That was something that will freak me out and I know that everyone will simply think that I am kinda exaggerating things here, but this is the way I do my jokes literally - very corny.
Now, I gotta end this but I'm glad to recommend Eden of the East to any Anime lover out there, it is surely worth of your time, but before watching the two films, you have to check the series first to fully understand the story. It is time for some weird things, especially with this post but I guess that every anime addict out there will be happy to join this challenge. Recently, the internet has been invaded by "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" on which many celebrities joined in it, and I assumed that it was the reason that many random challenges came out later on. Those challenges on which you have to tagged or mentioned your friends on your social media outlet has been very common nowadays. Some of those are quite interesting while others are really crap.
Few weeks ago, I have this friend from Facebook who started a new challenge and this is intended for every anime addict who have good memories. Yeah, I said good memories because if you don't have one then you'll terribly sucks at this. Well, I, myself may suck at naming this challenge as "Name Them All... Anime Challenge" on which I will add a single picture in this post and you must name all the random anime characters in it. You can use the comment section below to write all the anime characters in the picture that you know. I also suggest that to share this post or picture in your social media account and challenge your friends to name them. So, check out the picture below and let the challenge begin... I’d been watching various anime for ages and I can’t stop myself from writing this content article about my Top 10 Anime Films of All Time. Well, this is very common because there are so many blog posts, articles, newsletters or any piece of writing that do the same. Of course, everyone is entitled to do their owned list of Top Anime films or series based on their own taste or point of view – that’s why I never think that there’s really such thing as “best” or “greatest” anime film by simply looking from a single perspective. Since everyone have the right to tell the world about their ‘tops’ then so am I – ahead of this piece of **** are my Top 10 favorite anime films. I prefer to watch an anime film instead of a series because I really don’t like to sit for such a long period of time just to finish several episodes. But there are some exception such as the “Magi” series, FairyTail and several anime that totally suits my taste and will keep me on watching no matter how long it takes. Let’s back to anime film, I’d watched countless movies and I just can’t remember all of them but there are some that totally made a mark in my memory. I know that this post is subject to change because in the future, I may be able to watch a new film that will strike me down right on my heart and capture my inner self – which will made my current Top 10 to alter in the future. But let’s not talk about the future and just discuss what we have right now – I mean what anime films you had watched and enjoyed until this very moment. For me, there are various anime movies that makes me laugh so hard as if I was going to roll on the floor (just a lil’ bit of exaggeration), some are just ‘K’ – that’s why I always said when I am watching a boring film – there are also that are just crazy as hell like One Piece franchise (Yeah, the One Piece films are hilarious and I just love it that way). However, there are some movies that will just hit you directly in the heart for no reason, some will give you nostalgia (and this genre always catch my attention), while there are others will show us a slice of life story that will make us think deeper of our own existence. Most of the films that totally caught my attention are those from Studio Ghibli (and if I am right, majority of the people will say the same); Hayao Miyazaki’s works are probably on top of the industry however, there are rising anime creators will surely change the anime world someday.
The following films are my Top 10 among my favorites and I am glad to share this list to everyone because I know, somehow there are some people out there that exactly have the same taste as me. |
